John William Leyden

JWL is my 2GGrandfather...is there a records office in Black River that I could call in at (when I visit) to find out more about him, his wife Etta, and their four children...and is it close to Waterloo House...!!??

You should definitely try and visit Black River if you are a Leyden relative!

There is no records office in Black River. Have you tried looking online at the records held in Spanish Town?
