Jamaican Fruit in January  Not rated yet
What local fruit is in season in the second half of January? Are different fruits found on different parts of the island?

Will be coming back to Jamaica ...

Ok, just in case you're shy, I'll start you off. This is a TRUE story. Let me give you some background - Jamaicans are notorious for trying to speak with an American accent whenever we have a conversation with someone we think is from a foreign country. You could be French, German or Spanish, we hit you with our version of an American accent!

So, a Jamaican friend of mine (let's call him Chris), who happens to look white, passes this guy on the road everyday on the way to work. He stops one day and gives the guy a ride. The guy assumes he is a foreigner, and starts speaking American.

Chris: I notice you talk with an American accent, do you travel a lot?

Guy: No, I never leave yard yet, but I reads a lot of American books!

Believe it or not, is TRUE!
