Restaurants in Jamaica - Boone Hall Oasis

by Helen
(Kingston)

I was recently delighted by Sunday brunch at Boone Hall Oasis near Stony Hill, St. Andrew. Not only were their usual Jamaican ackee and saltfish, roast breadfruit, green banana, potato pudding and other treats available. They have now extended their seating locations closer to the river.

The running water and peaceful rural setting are a real plus.

I have been to Boon Hall Oasis, on many occasions including attending weddings, having brunch, or just dining with friends and family and I will continue to go. If you are a nature lover then this is the spot to be, the location is just amazingly beautiful! The food is first class, I have never had a bad experience either with service or food. Thumbs up to you guys! keep up the good work and continue to be creative and consistent.

Boone Hall Oasis sucks
by: Anonymous

Boone Hall Oasis is a poor excuse for a gettaway spot. They don't serve food as indicated on the menu, they had extremely inexperienced waiter/ waitresses so the service was poor. Managers of Boone Hall Oasis, u all need to improve your food service practices cause the presentation is poor. Invest in qualified chefs and waiters. Also, if you don't have something on the menu, say so. Don't serve what u want and say nothing. Im absolutely disapointed in the service. Also, You cant be using high scented chemicals to clean while you are opened for service and you certainly dont incinerate your waste at this time either. We had ash from the burnt stuff flying all over the place and into the food. Sick!!!!

Boone Hall Oasis now has a website. It is very functional with lots of pictures and information on Brunch, Lunch, Dinner, Weddings and Social & Corporate Functions. You can make reservations or requests quotations by simply filling out forms - (won't take long).

Jamaica food

Never been there but from all reviews seems to be on the ball. I think that the Jamaican food cuisine as the potential become a world class phenomenon, we only need to start the trend.

Boone Hall Oasis

I went to Boone Hall for a wedding once, and it was really lush and beautiful. Far into the hills of St. Andrew, but well worth the drive.
